Acting for the Stage – Level 1 is a 6-week beginner acting class designed to help you build confidence, learn the fundamentals of performance, and step onto the stage for the first time.
By the end of the course, you’ll perform a live scene on stage at The Spot:Lex in front of a real audience.
No experience required.
Just curiosity and the willingness to try something new.

Over six weeks, students will explore the core foundations of stage acting:

Instructor Bio — Jordan Lewandowski
Jordan Lewandowski is a producer, writer, and creative director working at the intersection of live performance, comedy, and film.
He is the founder of The Spot: Lex, a comedy and performance venue dedicated to developing new performers and building a vibrant creative community in Lexington.
Over the course of his career, Jordan has produced live shows around the world, developed film and television projects, and worked in production environments alongside performers such as Seth Green, Lou Ferrigno, Matt Walsh, and Pamela Adlon.
Jordan’s approach to teaching focuses on helping beginners feel comfortable on stage while learning the practical tools actors use to create believable performances. His classes emphasize stage presence, character work, and scene study — all culminating in a live showcase performance at The Spot.
