Acting For Dance Workshop
Join us for a Nutcracker audition prep workshop focused on acting for dance.
Showing off your technique is great in an audition, but what we want to see even more is the character you can bring to potential roles.
Exercises and interactive games will practice tapping into different emotions, character/personality choices, storytelling and how that helps shape your movement and dance for the stage.

- Dancers wanting to prepare for Nutcracker auditons
- Dancers not interesed in auditions but want to improve their acting skills
Choose the registration tier that works best for you. All ticket levels include the same workshop experience. Current MKC families may also contact us if you prefer to charge your card on file.
WHAT TO WEAR
All hair fully secured away from the face in ponytail or bun. Comfortable clothing + dance shoes or clean indoor sneakers + bring refillable water bottle.

This garage is conveniently across from MKC Project, with just a 2-3 minute walk across the street as pictured above.
ENTRY INTO MKC PROJECT (MEET-UP & CHECK-IN)
Come through the gate of 1044 and follow the path, make a right by the trees/bushes, enter through the double doors on the left, and head up the stairs to get checked in!

No refunds. If you’re unable to attend after registering, email MKC Project to be considered for a credit toward a future pop-up or weekly class.
Participation in dance classes involves physical activity and inherent risk of injury. By registering, participants voluntarily assume all risks related to participation.
Photos/videos may be taken during class for MKC Project social media and promotional content. By registering, participants consent to the use of their image and likeness by MKC Project, LLC.
