Learn acting techniques to succeed in comedic scenes with Eric Vue.
About this Event

Acting for Comedy is a 4 week class that is going to focus on the acting techniques that will help a performer do well in comedic scenes. We’ll focus on the various positions an actor can take in a comedy scene, like absurd and logical characters, and how an actor can approach these roles to get the best results. We will spend each week focusing on group scenes and monologues with the goal of honing our scene study skills. This course will require some time outside of class for rehearsal to ensure that students can come to sessions memorized. Be it sketch, improv, or cold reads, this course will be a benefit to anyone who wants to approach comedy in a new way. This class has a cap of 10 students.
