Acting for Camera one day workshop with Actress Neilí Conroy.

Neilí Conroy is a veteran film and TV actor with over 30 years of experience having started her career as a child. She currently stars as Sharon Collins in Fair City and as the lead role in Peter Sheridan’s play ‘Philo’ which will appear shortly in The Gaiety Theatre. She has appeared in numerous theatre productions as well as acclaimed TV and film roles in Love/Hate Damo and Ivor Kisses The Van Family Intermission A Film with Me in It and The General. Neilí is passionate about helping others discover their talent and sharing her wealth of experience in the industry.

About the Day

This workshop is designed for individuals eager to learn the fundamentals of acting for the camera whether they are absolute beginners or those looking to refine their skills. Through practical camera-based sessions participants will become more comfortable in front of the camera. The course covers the key differences between stage and screen acting while providing an introduction to essential industry knowledge including crew roles terminology hitting marks finding light working with sound teams and maintaining continuity.
