We invite you to join us on June 17 from 4 - 8 PM for our exclusive Acteal Trunk Show, featuring one-of-a-kind textile creations from the Abejas de Acteal Cooperative. Come and browse these exclusive items in a safe and socially-distanced setting outside in Concern America's backyard.You will have the opportunity to see a variety of huipiles, traditional embroidered blouses, shawls, tableware and much more. Each item is hand-embroidered and/or hand-woven by the women of the Las Abejas de Acteal Cooperative working to maintain their culture and traditions, improve their communities, and share their history of resilience.
Concern America purchases and sells all items at fair trade prices which value the artistry, talent, and experience of the artisans. Purchased directly from the cooperative, the artisans build economic stability for their families and communities.
