The math section of the ACT isn't just a test of what your student knows—it's a test of strategy, pacing, and efficiency. Led by collegiate mathematics faculty, this intensive 2-hour workshop gives high school students the exact mechanical shortcuts and test-day protocols they need to conquer test anxiety and maximize their scores.
⏱️ The 2-Hour High-Impact Breakdown:
- Hour 1: Core Test Strategies & Visual Shortcuts: We dive straight into our specialized strategy framework, breaking down the ACT Math section's question distribution (including Algebra, Functions, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics). Students will learn game-changing shortcuts like the "3 Sweeps Method," strategic decimal conversions for irrational numbers, scaling diagrams, and the other techniques to beat the clock.
- Break (5–10 Minutes): A quick breather to reset and stretch.
- The 20-Question Challenge (20 Minutes): A timed, representative sample test to put their new pacing and elimination skills to work under real testing conditions.
- Open Q&A & Analysis (Remaining Time): We review the sample test together and open the floor to analyze tricky problems or any specific questions students brought with them.
