Keep your skills current!About this Event
ACT 2, offered in odd-numbered years, provides continuing and refresher training to members of CERT of the Villages. Each ACT 2 class covers six topics:
- Blind Search
- Cribbing
- Fire Extinguishers
- Hasty Evacuation
- Splints
- Utility Controls
Attendance at one ACT class each year is required for continued membership on the Team. Class size is limited to 42 to facilitate hands-on training. This year, we are only able to offer four classes this Fall – please bear with us if the classes are larger than usual – we’ll return to more/smaller classes in 2022.
Please be sure to note the class in your personal calendar. A reminder will be sent three days before the class. Please also be sure to cancel ASAP if you cannot attend - there is no active waiting list.
This training program is restricted to members of CERT of The Villages.
