Join us for the ultimate art night, where you will be able to create your own unique piece of art, using an acrylic paint pour technique! Whether you want the opportunity to let loose and be creative, or you want a piece of art to brighten up your rooms of residence, this event is perfect for you.

NO skills are required- Whether you’re a mini-Picasso or a complete art amateur- this art event will be a great fit as it is fun, easy, and completely free to try! Plus, ResLifeBU will be providing refreshments and snacks for you! There are many methods which can be used to apply the paint to the canvas, we will be going through these techniques and then you can let your own creativity take control from there, personalising your piece with colours to match your personality or room design!

Top tip- Look into possible techniques and colours prior to the event on social media pages such as Pinterest to get some ideas flowing

All materials will be provided.

Location

Your halls common area/ social space 6:30pm-8:00pm.

The Okeford House event will be held at Dylan's Bar on Talbot Campus.

Accessibility Overview

This event will be held in halls social spaces which are on the ground floor, apart from Okeford house, this event will be held in Otto house, meaning Okeford House events are not fully accessible, as there is a flight of stairs leading up the second floor of the building. If you have any accessibility concerns please let us know and we can discuss this with you.

Event co-ordination: WhatsApp group chat

By purchasing a ticket to this event, you have consented to ResLifeBU creating a WhatsApp group chat with other participants. This means that we will add your mobile number to the group chat for this event, and therefore, your number will be visible to others in the group. The WhatsApp group will be managed by our events team and used to give you the full details of the event, including any changes. The WhatsApp group will be deleted within 24hrs after the event has taken place, unless students at the event request photos that have been taken –in this case, the group chat will stay live for 7 days, and then deleted. If you do not use WhatsApp, or if you don’t want your mobile number used for this purpose, please do not purchase this ticket through Eventbrite. Instead, email [email protected] to book your ticket. We will then use your email to confirm your space, and update you with any changes to the event, as we do within the WhatsApp group
