We will prepare your background onto heavy-weight paper and using acrylic paint by looking at the method of scraping the paint on to be able to apply several different layers, which will add depth to our creations. Finally, we will add our foreground (flower choice) to our background using fineliner/paint pen and experimenting with line, pattern and tone to complete our outcome. I will have two visuals that you can take inspiration from on the day, to give you support in creating something that you are proud of.
I will guide and facilitate you through the process and will make sure there is plenty of opportunity for you to explore what has been taught at your own pace.
There will be no pressure during the session to create a finalised piece of art. It is about letting yourself go creatively, finding a visual release and enjoying the process.
Art is good for the soul, it helps release stress and anxiety, develops dexterity, creative thinking, mindfulness & problem solving. But most of all, art is a fun expressive form of communication that everyone should embrace!
So, join me and other creatives for 2 hours of relaxation, art and good coffee!
