Acroyoga & Spring Hike To Harriman State Park Plus Photo Shoot

We are only accepting return students to come to the photoshoot. We want to know you. And you should also know acroyoga.

To get a ticket, you'll need an access code. The access code is in the group description of our Whatsapp group.

If you have come to at least one of our classes, we are excited to have you join us.

This is a whole day trip! Picture, by then, spring will be in all its glory! We are going to take public transit to Harriman State Park. We'll hike the Ramapo Dunderberg and Triangle Trial Loop (4.6 stars). At the high point, we'll wander a bit off trail to be near a lake to take gorgeous spring time photos of doing acroyoga in nature. This will be a whole day trip of us hanging out.

This will be very memorable. You'll get access to nature within a single day trip!

• A yoga mat or blanket to do acro on.
• Layered clothes to adjust to cold temperatures and getting sweaty going uphill
• Plenty of water
• Lunch and snacks
• Bug spray and sunscreen
• Hiking shoes or good sneakers

Port Authority at the gate for the Shortline Hudson Bus.

You have to get your own tickets.

Important! Only get a one-way ticket. We may take the train back!

• Arrive 15 minutes early at Port Authority.
• 9:10 AM The Shortline Hudson bus leaves at 9:10 AM. (Schedule is subject to change.)
• 10:14 AM The bus arrives at Tuxedo
• 12:15 PM Expect to hike about two hours to our lunch destination
• 2:15 PM Lunch and acro time
• 4:15 PM back at Tuxedo
• 5:15 PM An extra hour because I've never been on a hike where there weren't delays.
• 7:15 PM Arrive in Manhattan via train or bus*

Notes:

• On the return trip, we may take the train or the bus. Because it's hard to predict how fast/slow people hike, we'll have to take whatever will get us home sooner based on when we are back in Tuxedo. (Be sure to only buy a one-way ticket out so that you don't waste the return ticket because we are taking another mode back.)
• Keep your evening plans open. Hiking with a group is very unpredictable. And it always takes longer than expected.

The hike 7.3 miles with an elevation gain of 1,574 feet. The terrain is an uneven trail with rocks and roots. If you show up in flip-flops and expect to buy your lunch at McDonald's, you are woefully unprepared. Expect to go for 2 hours uphill at a good Manhattan pace with strategic 5-minute breaks to optimize your endurance.
