Interested in learning or leveling up your Reverse hand-to-hands?Iffy Roma and Andrew Perlot will be breaking down partner reverse hand balancing (getting a human to do a handstand on the hands of another human) in this workshop at Austin Gymnastics Club.
We'll be going over theory and technique from the ground up.
The workshop is suitable for those who are totally new to reverse hand-to-hands, but we'll also offer drills and progressions for those of a more intermediate level, with the option of those who are steady at L-basing hand to hands to take them into a standing position.
We'll also demonstrate how to use spotting to keep everyone safe.
You do not need a partner to attend.
Prerequisites to take this class:
Flyer: Be able to hold a handstand — leaning against the wall with arms/elbows fully locked — for 20 seconds.
Base: Be able to hold a plank 30 seconds.
