We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Lien Van Laer, vestibular researcher and physiotherapist, as one of our featured speakers this June.Lien completed her MSc in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy at Ghent University, followed by a PhD at the University of Antwerp, where her research explored risk factors for chronic dizziness after acute unilateral vestibulopathy. She has also contributed internationally as a Fulbright postdoctoral researcher at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
At the ACPIVR Conference, Lien will share key findings from her PhD, with a focus on the early assessment of visual dependence and psychological factors following acute unilateral vestibulopathy.
