ACPCF Study Days 2024

The ACPCF is delighted to invite all members to attend our annual study days at the Novotel Birmingham Centre, on 7th and 8th March 2024. Following our successful return to face-to-face study days last year, we will again look forward to welcoming you all back in person.

We have gathered feedback and topic suggestions from your feedback from last year, so that there will be a variety of lectures and discussions detailed in the agenda.

Other sessions over the two days will include our AGM and a future of physiotherapy panel discussion, covering adult and paediatric care. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion, so please email any hot topics for the panel to us.

Following continuous positive feedback, we have also included a case study session and the opportunity to display academic posters.

We welcome case study submissions on the following topics;

• Management of newly diagnosed babies in modulator era

• Co-morbidities in CF

• Service developments/redesign

Those who have their case study accepted will be able to attend the study day for free and there will be a prize for the case study voted the most interesting topic. Case study submission should be via email to [email protected] or [email protected] and the deadline for these is Monday 15th January 2024 at 1pm.

For those wishing to display posters at the event, please let us know when you apply/register. Posters will be displayed around the conference room and again a prize will be awarded for the poster voted the most interesting presentation.

As a committee, we have worked hard to keep the price of attendance competitive considering rising costs of living. There will be a limited number of Early Bird tickets priced at £85, once these are sold the ticket price will be £100. Due to popular demand, we also have a limited number of single day tickets for the Thursday or Friday at a cost of £70. Places for the study day are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis providing your ACPCF membership is up to date.

There will be a social networking event on Thursday evening in a venue close to the hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity for us all to catch up outside of work, so it would be lovely to see you all there. Please can you let us know on the application form if you are interested in coming as this will give an idea of numbers for venue booking.

To make sure you do not miss out on a place, please return the application form to us on the above email addresses and complete payment via Eventbrite. We will not be able to accept late applications and no applications will be considered after Friday 26th January 2024, so please book early!
