About this Event
In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, organizational resiliency is no longer optional—it’s mission-critical. This session will explore strategies for developing robust continuity plans, implementing effective technology disaster recovery solutions, and advancing program maturity to ensure operational stability during disruptions.
Recent high-profile outages, such as the CrowdStrike incident and Microsoft Azure service disruptions, have highlighted the cascading impacts of technology failures on business operations. Combined with emerging threats—ransomware, supply chain vulnerabilities, and geopolitical risks—these events underscore the need for integrated resiliency programs that bridge emergency management and business continuity disciplines.
This in-person / remote event is designed for emergency management professionals, business continuity practitioners, and organizational leaders responsible for risk and resiliency programs.
Key Topics Covered:
- Continuity Plan Development: Frameworks, templates, and best practices.
- Technology Disaster Recovery: Lessons learned from major outages (CrowdStrike, Azure) and strategies for resilience in cloud-based ecosystems.
- Program Maturity: Leveraging maturity models to drive continuous improvement.
- Emerging Threats: Cybersecurity risks, supply chain fragility, and operational interdependencies.
