Please join us for our September 2025 Acoustic Cafe.
Our first Fall show of 2025 season will be on Sep. 16 and features The Co-Conspirators, a Hemmingford, Quebec-based duo of Will Richards and Katherine Simons. They play folk/singer-songwriter music with elements of country, rock, blues, gospel, bluegrass, spiritual, and general roots music. With heavy emphasis on vocal harmonies, this duo had been compared to The Weavers, Ian and Sylvia Tyson and Richard and Linda Thompson. They perform mostly original music along with some traditional and contemporary covers.
In the opening set, we'll host The Sunshine Gang. Fronted by Musical Director Keith Fagan and founded and managed by guitarist Jim Klein, they bring together talented Arlington and DC-area musicians and singers who inspire each other and entertain audiences by ‘finding the fun’ in making music. Joining them in the Acoustic Cafe will be Elizabeth Fette, Bob Matisoff, and Jim Milosavich. Their repertoire is drawn largely from classic 1960’s - 1980’s rock & roll, with song selection venturing into blues, gospel, jazz standards and originals. If you like the Beatles, Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Eagles and the like, you’ll love their show and they'll love playing for you!
