Join Rockit Vocal Studios as they take over Acoustic Afternoons at the King Eddy on July 25. This family-friendly brunch show will feature live music by local artists Evie Marsten, Shaya Istace, and Addy Watson.

About Evie Marsten:
Evie Marsten is a 15 year old farm living singer/songwriter who has been writing and performing since the age of 9. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Evie plays bass, guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, and drums. She is a Joey award recipient for an original song written in Cree, is a 2025 Country Music Alberta nominee, and a 2026 Canada Teen Jam Finalist. Alongside her music career, Evie has contributed to film as both an actress, a composer, and a score assistant. Currently recording her first 2 singles, you can find Evie performing throughout the summer including at the Big Valley Jamboree Youth Stage and the Calgary Stampede Window on the West Writer's round.
About Shaya Istace:
Shaya Istace is a 17 year old up and coming country artist from Whitewood, Saskatchewan, blending modern and classic country with a style inspired by Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson. She is set to release her debut single, "Man Out Of You," on June 26.
Shaya opened for Jess Moskaluke on her Life For Me Tour in 2025 and performs regularly at showcases, festivals and rodeos.
About Addy Watson:
From Whitecourt, Alberta, Addy Watson is a powerhouse in the country rock scene, known for her raspy, upbeat vocals and electric stage presence. Blending the grit of Joan Jett with the heart of Miranda Lambert and the soul of Lainey Wilson, Addy brings a fierce authenticity to every performance, whether she's lighting up a festival stage or a hometown concert.
Addy's talent has been recognized on both national and international stages. She's a three-time winner at the prestigious North American Country Music Association International (NACMAI) awards in Tennessee 2025, and earned 2nd place in the Global Country Canada's competition 2025. With performances in Nashville and across Alberta under her belt, she's no stranger to the spotlight—and she owns every minute of it.

Rockit Vocal Studios, is a community of performers supported and coached by Emma Harding. With over 20 year’s experience in voice coaching and as a singer songwriter, she works with clients of all experience levels and genres, including #1 chart topping Canadian and US artists and voice artists as well as acclaimed actors and character voice performers for film and television, most recently coaching the voices on Jim Henson's 'Fraggle Rock - Back To The Rock.'
As well as managing Rockit Vocal Studios for the past 11 years, and hosting and producing a successful podcast, Emma was selected to bring her musical expertise to the community as the Musical Artist in Residence at the Calgary library, and as the voice coach for CMI’s AE West program. Emma serves as a coach for television shows, voice actors, and platinum-selling, touring artists, contributing to their success with my expertise, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Country Music Alberta.
