Dena El Saffar
In the Spirit Of the Lotus Festival, and World Fair Trade Month, Juniper welcomes Dena El Saffar to our Janiece Jaffe Legacy Stage for a special Acoustic Afternoon. She will present instrumental music on viola and ‘oud.

Dena is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, teacher and recording artist who has performed throughout North America, Europe, and the Middle East. She is the founder and leader of Salaam, which has released nine albums, and was featured on NPR's All Things Considered.
During a short break, Gracia Valliant will give a talk on the benefits of purchasing Certified Fair Trade goods.
