Join us for the 32nd annual Acorn War August 28-30, 2026, to be held at the Powerland Heritage Park in Salem, OR.
Friday, Blackhart Soup Kitchen
Saturday, WAR!!! We’ll have war scenarios with projectiles, royal archery rounds, rapier dueling. Compete for the honor of becoming a Defender in archery, thrown weapons, scribal, bardic, art & science tournaments! Activities for all ages. Saturday night bardic gathering. A variety of merchants will be present.
You are strongly encouraged to bring drinking water. Fire season will be upon us, details to come. We welcome you to volunteer in at least one area or more, it takes a village. If you want to teach a class or merchant, please let event stewards know, she will steer you to the contact lead.

Fees: Adults – $35, with $10 discount for members. Youth and children, no charge, waivers do apply for nonmember minors/adults. Please list on form. NO MERCHANT FEES – merchants must pre-register! (Individual site fee still applies). Make checks payable to “Shire of Mountain Edge, SCA Inc.
Note: Mountain Edge Defenders and Royals are comp’d for entry fee to event. Please let us know if you can come. *Checks and Cash only at the site
