ACMNP - Women in the Wilderness Hot Springs National Park

Welcome to the 4th annual ACMNP Women in the Wilderness!!

Coming this September, we will be hosting our fourth IMPACT trip geared specifically for women. We can't wait to gather ladies from all across the country together for a few intentional days of exploring God's beautiful creation, growing in our own personal leadership capacities, talking about soul care, worshipping in a national park, and volunteering with National Park Service. These few days will be filled with fun, laughter, depth, growth, reflection, and community...trust us, you won't want to miss this!

As we look forward in planning amidst COVID-19 , we have decided to limit this IMPACT trip to two groups of12 ladies. Please note that we will be staying in shared accomodations and traveling in a van together (we have rented two AirBnb's, so there will be 12 ladies at each). We ask that you consider these factors as you determine whether or not to join this year. We will adapt as needed and plan to follow CDC recommendations as we approach the event to ensure safety for our participants.

When? Friday, September 24 from 4:00pm through Monday, September 27 at 11:00am

Where? Hot Springs National Park! We will be staying in two AirBnb houses in Hot Springs, AR. Each can accomodate up to12 individuals, and both are walking distance to downtown. We will be taking trips in and out of the park, spending time at the AirBnbs, and maybe even some fun excursions around town. Be sure to bring your swimsuit for a soak at the historic bathhouse!

Transportation: There are three options for transportation. You can drive yourself and meet us at the AirBnb (downtown Hot Springs, AR), you can ask to carpool with another participant who may be driving, or you can fly into Little Rock airport and be picked up en route to the park (1 hour drive). Before booking your airfare, please be sure to register first, and wait for further instructions. We have specific times you will need to arrive and depart by. If you are interested in driving yourself and meeting us there, please let us know that as well. If you are willing to offer your vehicle as a carpool option, please let us know that as well!

Cost: $275 per person. This includes transportation, fuel, meals, lodging, 2021 ACMNP t-shirt, Lions Lead Leadership Assessment (worth $50+) and entrance into the park. If you would like to soak at the hot springs bathhouse with us (optional), you can either bring $20 with you to the event or add on $20 to your registration fee to cover your entrance.

If the costs are a concern to you, note that we can facilitate a payment plan ($100 deposit due to reserve your spot, and we can work to make the remaining payments manageable).

Who? This is open to all women who are interested in growing in their own personal leadership development and networking with other great ladies. Please note that we will have times that require some physical activity, including hiking, possible biking and service project opportunities. Additionally, lodging will be in shared accommodations to promote a sense of community and facilitate good conversations. Alumni of the ministry, and non-alum are welcome to join!
