ACMA Songwriters at Koreshan State Park.
The Friends of Koreshan State Park have partnered with the ACMA (Americana Community Music Association) to present monthly concerts featuring all-original music by talented local artists.
Bring a chair or blanket and settle in for an evening under the stars.
The ACMA, a Fort Myers–based nonprofit, is dedicated to promoting original music by local singer-songwriters. Each showcase features artists sharing their songs, the stories behind them, and a lifetime of experiences— Prepare for an evening of professional-quality acoustic Americana music, which blends blues, roots, folk, bluegrass, and country. Michael Boswell’s musical journey began in the small town of Brighton Tennessee, nurtured by the sounds of his father’s guitar and his granddaddy’s fiddle. After years of performing in bands across the country spectrum, Michael found his true calling in songwriting—a passion that brought him and his wife to Nashville in 1988.
During his time in Music City, Michael secured a publishing deal with Levy Production and honed his craft at renowned songwriters' nights, including The Bluebird and Douglas Corner. His path eventually led him into the world of video production with the Christian Television Network (CTN), prompting a move to Florida.
When you look into Michael’s eyes, you see the sincere warmth of a man who knows his purpose. God has guided him to a point in his life where his gentle, authentic songs and media work are powerfully used to touch and bless everyone he reaches.
Dennis Michael is a soulful music performer whose style blends folk, blues, and indie elements into a captivating sonic tapestry. Hailing from Long Island, New York, Dennis weaves stories of the heart and introspection, delivering raw and relatable narratives through his evocative lyrics and rich melodies.
With a strong foundation as a session artist, writer, and collaborator, Dennis honed his craft working with Caprice Records and RockMill Studios. These experiences shaped his distinctive sound and storytelling prowess, earning him recognition for his heartfelt performances and poignant songwriting.
Whether performing solo or with a band, Dennis Michael’s music resonates deeply, drawing listeners into an emotional journey that feels both personal and universal. His ability to connect through tales of love, loss, and self-discovery sets him apart as a truly authentic artist.
Ralph Leesburg has been making music for more than 50 years but it has only been the last 20 that he has set intentions on positive music. A little folksy, a little rootsy, a little bluesy, a little bit of rock’n’roll. And something he likes to call Metaphysical Country. He really likes sharing the vibe and hopes to leave you smiling.
