We are excited to announce that Chicago Bob and Blues Squad will join us for Acker Night inside the beautiful Elks Theatre! We also expect additional surprises -
Chicago Bob and Blues Squad are heading to Memphis in January to represent Northern Arizona in the International Blues Challenge ( https://blues.org/international-blues-challenge/ ). So come out and hear why these guys won the local competition and will be showcasing their talents in Memphis! - it will be a show containing Rockin' and Groovin' blues from both bands
*** PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING CASH AND LETS FILL THOSE TIP BAGS TO SUPPORT MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS AND INSTRUMENTS FOR OUR LOCAL SCHOOLS --- ***
For Road One South - this will be our last participation in Acker Night at the Elks as we expect to pass the baton to another group. This show will be dedicated to original Road One South member John Wurtz who we lost to cancer in January of this year. John loved Acker Night and helped to orchestrate many of our past shows in which young musicians were able to perform with our band. It was his passion... watch for an Acker Night video retrospective which will be posted soon.
