About this Event

Attendees will earn 1.5 ACHE In-Person Education credits for participating in this session.

Join ACHE of the Southwest for Ensuring Your Community’s Successful Emergency Preparedness, an engaging panel discussion designed for healthcare executives and clinical, administrative, and operational leaders.

Healthcare organizations operate in an increasingly complex environment, and when a community faces a natural, human-caused, or technological emergency, the healthcare system is often at the forefront of response and recovery. Effective preparedness requires healthcare organizations and community partners to work together to develop comprehensive plans, strengthen communication, coordinate resources, and support their communities.

During this session, healthcare and technology leaders will discuss local emergency risks and preparedness challenges, organizational emergency planning, cybersecurity, crisis communication, and lessons learned from previous emergencies. The conversation will also explore opportunities for healthcare organizations and community partners to strengthen collaboration before, during, and after a disaster.

Attendees will gain practical perspectives on evaluating preparedness efforts, building communication redundancy, coordinating emergency response, and strengthening the resilience of healthcare organizations and the communities they serve.
