ACF Region VI HT Workgroup Little Rock, Arkansas Child Welfare Pre-Con.

In 2019, the ACF Region VI Human Trafficking Workgroup identified the need for a Topic of Interest (TOI) Child Welfare subcommittee - specifically for our child welfare professionals. To clarify, this subcommittee is for those of us who are directly a part of the state’s child welfare system (whether state, county-run or parish-run). As we have convened the Workgroup there have been times topics arose that were highly dedicated to just child welfare. This Pre-Conference will allow a dedicated time for our child welfare representative to discuss the progress of our departments in meeting the federal requirements, challenges around implementation of programs and practices, and identify possible collaboration points between our respective agencies. Both in person and virtual attendance options available.
