TxDOT Austin District Engineer, Tucker Ferguson, will discuss how the region's rapid growth is shaping the future of the transportation network. He'll also discuss the major investments underway that keep people and goods moving safely and efficiently.
Ferguson will highlight several transformative projects including the I-35 Capital Express Program, which is modernizing the critical freight and commuter corridor. He will also cover grade-separated intersections and mobility enhancements along Loop 360 and SH 71. Finally, he'll discuss planned improvements to US 290, west of Oak Hill toward Dripping Springs, and FM 973 from Manor to Taylor.
Together, these projects represent billions in transportation investments that support economic growth, improve travel mobility, and position Central Texas for the future.
