Accoustic Open Mic- Free to Performers and The Public

Come on down to clean, comfortable Common Grounds, a 60 seat non-profit performance hall next to KDW radio in North Port's Warm Mineral Springs area for our free weekly open mic. Performers, of all levels and experience, sign up begins at 6:30 pm. The show starts around 7. You'll have an opportunity to perform up to 3 numbers depending on how many people come to entertain each week. We have great acoustics and Bose audio equipment to help you sound your best. Bring some friends or come alone and meet wonderful folks in our welcoming community. You can also BYOB and food to enjoy during the show or take advantage of our $1.00 snack bar. We also have a 50/50 raffle and a drawing or two for performers and the audience members who stay for the duration of the open mic. Our Open Mic is broadcast on KDW radio 97.5 FM over the air or on the 'net, video streamed on Facebook, viewed in up to 26 countries and posted on our You Tube channel and Facebook page. You can review your set and share it with friends and family far away. We encourage all musicians and listeners to pre-register via this site. Because folks who register do not always show up or cancel, we take everyone on a first come, first seated basis.
