Accessible Poetry Workshop*What is poetry?
*Why write poetry?
*Who can write poetry?
*Who or what benefits from poetry?
In this workshop, we'll examine these questions and put the answers into practice. We'll read some examples of accessible forms such as acrostic poems and list poems. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to write your own poems using prompts and share with others in a creative, safe space. By the end of this workshop, we hope you'll feel more comfortable and confident using poetry as a way of self-expression!
*All levels and experience are welcome.
*No prior knowledge of poetry is required.
*This workshop will be held in English, but you can write in whatever language you prefer.
*Please bring your favorite notebook and pen or electronic device.
