We are committed to making National Museums Liverpool’s museums and art galleries as accessible and inclusive as possible and to support this we are launching a series of monthly Access Inclusion Days which will provide tailored experiences for visitors with additional needs including, but not limited to; mobility support, visual impairment and hearing loss.
While we hope to be an accessible museum every day of the year, we know that sometimes additional support would help.

To support a wide range of needs we are starting off by focusing on three key areas:
visitors with mobility access needs, blind and partially-sighted visitors, and visitors who are hard of hearing or are D/deaf.
Saturday 26 February is our visual impairment focus day, entry as always is free.
With five floors to explore World Museum can be daunting for anyone, we aim through our accessibility days make this your most valued experience yet
On 26 February our Learning team will bring a taster of the museum to the first-floor treasure house theatre foyer with handling collections to explore and handy hints for getting the most out of your visit. This family-friendly, supported day falls within the local school holidays when the museum will be very busy, our aim is to help you to explore the museum at your own pace.
We are keen to learn what would improve your museum visit and would love to hear your thoughts, ideas and advice on how we can make your visit even better.
