Accelerating Growth for Greater Climate Impact - The Imperative of Scalable Innovation in Africa

The Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC) is a climate-focused business incubator and innovation hub that supports entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in developing and scaling climate-smart solutions. Through its programs the GCIC fosters sustainable business practices promotes green technologies and addresses climate change by supporting innovations in sectors such as renewable energy waste management water efficiency and climate-resilient agriculture. The GCIC plays a crucial role in driving green economic growth in Ghana and across Africa.

We are partnered by Halcyon an internationally renowned incubator and non-profit organization based in Washington DC. Halcyon supports social entrepreneurs through its fellowships and incubator programs helping innovators build sustainable ventures that address global challenges. GCIC and Halcyon are both amplifying the impact of climate-smart businesses by providing the resources mentorship and platforms necessary to scale their solutions. This partnership strengthens our shared vision of fostering innovation for climate resilience and green economic growth both in Ghana and globally.

The event is a cornerstone of our ongoing mission to support climate-smart entrepreneurs and foster sustainable innovations across Africa. By bringing together thought leaders policymakers and innovators we aim to catalyze partnerships and drive scalable solutions that can meaningfully advance climate adaptation and resilience.
