ACC Tikpere Patron Party & Performance

Join us for the Tikpere Patron Party presented by African Culture Connection and co-chaired by Janette Taylor and Emily Mwaja! Be a part of an evening of cultural exploration with African hor d'oureves provided by Chaima's African Cuisine, a cash bar, and a silent auction showcasing authentic African art generously donated by the Malaika Foundation. Following the Patron Party will be a colorful and lively performance by African Culture Connection's performing artists and three visiting international artists.

Tikpere, meaning "Our Culture and History Will Not Disappear", is a festive community event designed to increase the knowledge of and cultural pride in the history, strengths and contributions of traditional and modern African cultures through a lively, colorful African performance. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to experience authentic African culture through vibrant dance, drumming and storytelling. Come watch as the African Culture Connection artists walk you through a beautiful African story of cultural pride and the positive influences Africa has had in our society.
