About this Event
The Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) is facilitating an in-depth service mapping and coordination initiative focused on HIV-related clinical and community services supporting African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) Families communities in Ottawa.
The purpose of this initiative is to strengthen coordination, enhance integration, and improve visibility across existing services — including organizations that have received recent ACB-focused investments.
Insights generated through this process will support stronger coordination and inform future strategic planning for HIV-related services serving ACB communities.
A full-day (in-person) structured gathering will bring together community organizations, service providers, and health system partners to validate existing services and identify opportunities to strengthen system and service coordination across the sector.
The convening will:
- Capture and validate existing clinical services and programs supporting ACB families and communities
- Confirm referral pathways and service intersections
- Conduct a structured strengths and gaps analysis
- Identify opportunities for improved collaboration and integration
