Join us to find out what studying at the University of Portsmouth is really like and how to get the best start to your academic journey in the UK. This session will introduce key aspects of UK higher education, including different teaching methods, what to expect in your classes, and how to prepare effectively for your studies. You will also learn about essential digital systems, including how to access your timetable, receive important university messages, use Moodle to support your learning, and connect to university Wi-Fi and other digital resources. We will explore the academic skills and support services available throughout your studies, as well as practical ways to participate confidently in university life, engage positively with your learning, and make the most of your time at Portsmouth. Whether you are new to studying in the UK or want to build your confidence before classes begin, this workshop will help you prepare for success from day one.
