Academic Libraries North Conference 2024

The 2024 Academic Libraries North (ALN) Conference is on the theme of 'Generative AI and Emerging Technologies'

Over two days, one online and one in-person in Leeds, it will examine how the increasing ubiquity of emerging technologies such as machine learning and generative AI is going to affect our day to day work, and how we should be educating ourselves and our users about them.

ALN Conference 2024 (#ALN24) will delve into the issues raised by the rise of these technologies such as ethics, information literacy instruction and the impact on research, students and the world. The programme comprises a range of thought-provoking workshops, presentations, lightning talks and keynote speakers.

Delegates can choose to attend both days, or the day that is most relevant to them.

Delegates are welcome from all regions, not only those who work in ALN member institutions.
