Are you looking to refine your rolling instruction? Would you like to participate in a dedicated class amongst other experienced instructors to share tips and tricks? Then this class is for you!This endorsement course provides the knowledge and skills needed for effective, reliable kayak rolling instruction in calm water. We will focus on effective rolling progressions for different rolling techniques, paying special attention to troubleshooting common mistakes and delve deeply into video review. Candidates will learn techniques that minimize the risk of injury, both mental and physical, to the student and instructor throughout the progression of the roll.
Prerequisites: Participants must hold a current ACA Level 2, 3 or 4 River Kayak Instructor certification to receive endorsement. Participants must be able to demonstrate a safe and effective roll in flat water and a combat roll in the venue appropriate for their instructor certification. Contact me with any questions.
