Abundant Wellness on the Waterfront

This is our annual health outreach and the conclusion of a wellness series (Waterfront Wellness). A project sponsored in part by the Port of Long Beach. This event is back by popular demand. You asked and we listened. It will host an Ask the Doctors panel with doctors from all breast health disciplines, and a behavioral therapist. The format is Q & A only (no presentations). Availing you the opportunity to get your questions answered. Again, we have invited Women of Color Breast Cancer Support Project in partnership.

This event will also feature live entertainment (performances by SHINE and Survivor Songstress Nicki Octavia), vendors, gifts and door prizes. For the first time this event will be free of charge. It is open to the public but does require registration. Seating is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Because we are a grassroots survivorship organization we take these opportunities to education our community on breast health, breast reconstruction, safety net resources and access to care. Increasing health literacy and addressing access to care issues are vital components to the health and wellness of our community and health equity.
