Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944) is credited as a pioneer of the abstract art movement in Western art. Kandinsky used vibrant colors and geometric designs in his work. Inspired by this artist, in this program, you’ll create abstract heart art in honor of Valentine’s Day. No prior art experience or self-perceived skills required! Led by artist and avowed creativity evangelist Liz Kitchens, this program is an opportunity to stretch your creative muscles, experience using new mediums such as acrylic paints and polymer clay, and enjoy the company of others. Program note: The registration fee includes all program materials.
