About the Artist:
Deanna is a self-taught artist native to Hampton Roads with a lifelong love for creating. Primarily a fluid artist, she also loves to experiment with the boundaries of her medium, finding new ways to express herself through her art.
Her style varies through different applications of fluid art (traditional pouring or her signature gilded floral blooms), to pieces spun out on a pottery wheel, heavily textured abstracts, as well as a newfound love for gelli printmaking. Her work resides in private collections across the United States as well as Canada and several European countries.
Deanna is not only a resident artist at d’Art Center, but also the Social Media Coordinator & Gallery Assistant plus a camp and class instructor; she can’t wait to get creative with you!

With help from the Program for Improving Capacity and Capability (PICC) Grant, the d'Art Center is able to bring back free programming for our community, but we need your help to gather information required by the grant to meet our goal in Connecting the Community with the Visual Arts. Before the activity begins, attendees will be asked to fill out a Participation Card that includes questions such as age range, zip code, etc.

This workshop is free and open to the public, but your RSVP gives us an idea on what to expect! We accept walk-ins and RSVPs, but all spaces are first come, first served - an RSVP does not guarantee your space. Please arrive on time.
