Abstract Art Workshop (Ages 6+)
Celebrate the final days of summer with a colorful morning of painting, layering, stamping, splattering, and creative fun!
Young artists will choose between two playful abstract canvas designs:
Pastel Pop Art: bright, whimsical design featuring a textured heart, heart-eyes smiley face, daisies, lightning bolts, stars, colorful marks, and soft pastel layers.
Sports Pop Art: bold, energetic design featuring basketball, soccer, and baseball elements, smiley faces, stars, lightning bolts, checkerboard details, paint splatters, and vibrant colors.
Artists will be encouraged to personalize their canvas by choosing colors, adding patterns, creating textured details, and making their artwork uniquely their own. This is a guided workshop with plenty of room for imagination and individual creativity.
Recommended for ages 6+
Workshop includes:
- Choice of one canvas design
- Guided, age-appropriate instruction
- All painting and art materials
- Texture, stamping, layering, and splatter techniques
- Gloss finishing details
- Snacks and drinks
- A completed canvas to take home
No previous painting experience is needed. Please have children wear clothing that can get a little messy.
To fill in out time while waiting for layers of paint to dry, we will make more art, bead, listen to music and play games.
Advance registration is required. Space is limited.
After registratio, you will receive a separate email providing a full registration / emergency form to complete. If your child has attended a 2026 summer camp with us, we have one on file so please reply to that email letting us know.
