Hardy & Nance Studios is pleased to announce our Call for Entries for the "the ABSTRACT art show" event that will be displayed on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 5-10 pm. This call for entries is open to all artists in Houston and surrounding areas working on 2D & 3D media.THEME: Abstract art that explores the relationships of shape, form, color and line to create a composition that breaks away from the traditional representation of physical objects. Examples of Abstract Artists include Piet Mondrian, Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko, Frank Ammerlann, & Liam Everett - just to name a few.
SIZE RESTRICTIONS: 2D/wall hanging artwork cannot exceed 72" on any side (including frame if applicable). 3D stand-alone artwork must fit through a standard door and able to be easily lifted/moved by one or two people.
Artists can submit images and information for up to four (4) pieces no later than Sunday, September 8, 2025 at 11:59 pm. This is a curated show, so some pieces may not be chosen.
All notifications of acceptance will be sent via email on/by Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
The entry fee for this show is $15 cash per accepted piece, due at drop off. There is no fee to submit images for consideration.
