Absolute Beginners Watercolour
Are you attracted to watercolour painting but don’t know where to start? See other artists use watercolour and would love to do that? Have told yourself it’s too difficult.
If so, join International Artist Linda Hollingshead, well known for her friendly, inspirational & enjoyable courses for this one day workshop. Linda will share her expertise from a lifetime of painting to start you on your journey to create successful watercolour paintings well known for its beautiful qualities.
Linda introduces you to the watercolour process & materials through simple painting demonstrations. You will be guided through a variety of techniques, tools and the materials to use. Including paint mixing, brush handling & paint application. Interactive easy exercises will provide you with a step-by-step process to practice & gain confidence. Linda is on hand to help with tips and advice to get the most from your painting.
Throughout the day we use a selection of simple photo references & gradually build up to creating a full painting. So you come away with an easy to follow process to practice & use again and again to create paintings to be proud of.

● Group paint along step by step exercises
● Simple colour mixing
● Learn the process to create a painting.
