Are you an established producer looking to switch DAWs? A total beginner who’s never produced music before at all?
Or have you been working in Ableton for a little while, but feel like your grip on the basics is a little shaky?
In collaboration with 𝗘́𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄, Ivy Teresa aka Yvois, will be leading a day-long beginner's course in Ableton for FLINTA* (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Trans, Agender and other gender minority) electronic music producers.
Requirements:
𝙉𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙.
Participants must bring their own laptop with a version of Ableton installed, and a pair of wired headphones (not bluetooth). Note that you can get a trial version of Ableton free at the Ableton website for 30 days: https://www.ableton.com/en/trial/
Duration: 10:00 - 18:00, with breaks

This is a price for those who are freelancers, students or people working part time; people with a less stable financial situation who must be more selective about where they spend their money
35 € subsidised entry.
This is a price for people experiencing financial precarity, who have little money to spend on travel, nightlife and other luxuries.

Ableton HQ is an accessible space. If you have accessibility requirements to participate in this workshop, please contact us at least 5 days prior so that we can discuss your needs.
Private lessons are available for producers who are unable to attend due to these accessibility considerations. Please contact us for more information.

If you have concerns for your safety coming to and from this workshop, there is a fund available for you to take a taxi home at the end of the day. Please just talk to us, as your safety is of utmost importance to us.
Covid 19: We ask all participants to take a covid test before arrival. Tests can also be provided for 1-2€ upon arrival. If you need to take a test at the space, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. Masking is welcome but not mandatory.

ABOUT IVY TERESA
Ivy Teresa aka Yvois is a musician, producer, and music educator with over 15 years of experience introducing individuals and groups of all levels and backgrounds to the joy of music-making. She is the founder of Éclat Crew Berlin. She produces warm, wonky beats and singer of moody aural treats under the name Yvois, and is the singer-songwriter behind the indie rock project Luckless.
