AbleStay Networking Evening

After a hugely successful event last year, our networking evening at AbleStay is back for its second year on Thursday 5th March! This is a great opportunity to see a fully accessible domestic property in person and explore how thoughtful design can support those with complex care needs.

The evening includes a tour of the accessible home and insightful talks on designing domestic properties for complex care needs. Network with fellow OTs, case managers and architects working in complex care and accessibility while you enjoy complimentary refreshments.

On the evening, you’ll have the chance to try our VR headset and explore even more innovative adaptations.

Located in Worcester Park, AbleStay is London’s first fully accessible holiday home. Founded by Charles and Jo van Berckel, whose lived experience caring for their son Kit, who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, highlighted the lack of truly accessible places to stay in London.
