Calling amateur musicians… we have been keen to sign up Richard Michael to lead our workshop for some time and are delighted that he has agreed!
Originally from Stonehaven, Richard has led workshops throughout the UK and Europe. A graduate of RSAMD and Honorary Professor of Jazz Piano at the University of St Andrews, he “has the versatility to work on any theme, in any key and in any given style…and can improvise a fugue/blues/standard/eightsome reel at a moment’s notice!”
We will have music for all traditional instruments, including woodwind and brass. Open to any musician at intermediate or more advanced levels.
Cost is £25 (free to AFO members). This includes the workshop, sheet music files, refreshments, lunch and a whole lot of fun!
