Aberdeen Beach clean

Kick start your 2024 Aberdeen Marine Discovery day with a beach clean with the Turning the Plastic tide team. This beach clean is linked to the exciting Marine Discovery day at Aberdeen Science Centre on 1st August - Festival of the Sea Aberdeen 2024 | Aberdeen City Council !

After the Beach clean join us again in the Science centre for a fantastic filled day of marine activities and learning - 10-4pm

The safety briefing and equipment handout will start at 9:00 by the main lower footpath by the Beach ballroom section of beach - what3words:/// reap.march.gifted

All beach cleaning kit is provided but volunteers are reminded to dress appropriately for the conditions on the day. Please bring suncream, sunhats. No open toed shoes please! (trainers, boots or welllies only).

All are welcome to help but anyone under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
