Jazz Record Art Collective presents Paul Hecht Quartet, with special guest Mark Feldman, performing John Abercrombie's 1980 release ABERCROMBIE QUARTET on Tueesday, October 26th at 8pm at Fulton Street Collective.The evening will also feature live painting from visual artist TBA.

The most accessible of three recordings from this quartet featuring Richie Beirach on piano (who also composed half the pieces on this record), George Mraz on bass, and Peter Donald on drums. The recordings were re-released as a box set by ECM in 2015 under the title "The First Quartet," as in the first of Abercrombie's career.
