Abendmusik of Colorado Springs will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary at its annual Spring Concert in the sanctuary of the Broadmoor Community Church.
The concert will feature choral literature taken from the group’s fifty year legacy of choral performances in the Pikes Peak region. The eclectic repertoire consists of choral music from 19th, 20th, and 21st century composers, and ranges in style from classical to folk to Broadway musical literature. The repertoire includes unaccompanied singing as well as accompaniment by strings and piano.
Abendmusik concerts are always free and open to the public.
