Bob Andrews is a storyteller with deep roots in working-class Americana. Raised in a small town between Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore, his musical journey began with his father’s love for Hank Williams tunes. His passion for music took off when his older brother brought home The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan album, inspiring Bob to pick up the guitar and banjo.
His dedication led to a recording deal with the Dancing Druid label, where he worked with Schooner Fair’s Tom Rowe at Apple Valley Studio to produce his acclaimed CD, Finns Point Light. The album received glowing reviews and national airplay, while Bob’s songwriting found an audience through artists like Boston’s Eric Behr and Wichita’s Aaron Fowler. Acclaimed songwriter Bob Franke praised him, saying, “Bob Andrews is one of the best songwriters to come through my workshops,” placing him among talents like David Wilcox and Kristina Olsen.
