Welcoming a new baby into your life comes with so many things… things that clutter your house, stretch your budget, and impact the planet.
This month, we’re excited to have Allana Haines, a sustainability officer with council and ABA volunteer, leading a group discussion on parenting and sustainability. She’ll share practical tips and ideas, and we’d love parents to bring along their own experiences of what’s worked for them.
Allana will also bring along a big collection of cloth nappies and cover the basics:
- different types and how to use them
- fitting tips to prevent leaks
- easy cleaning routines
If you’ve got cloth nappies tucked away but aren’t sure where to start, this is your chance to learn and share wisdom!
We’ll also be hosting a baby clothes swap — so please bring along any good-quality, used baby clothes ready to find a new home.
