As the nation marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the White House Initiative and President’s Advisory Commission on Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI), the City of Houston Mayor’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Advisory Board (Board) is proud to host the first-ever AAPI National Convention Houston (Convention) on July 27, 2024, at Marriott Marquis Houston.

Designed to facilitate the AAPI community in having a united voice, AAPI National Convention Houston will bring together AAPI groups from across the country to exchange ideas, empower advocacy and enable progress. We look forward to welcoming thought-leaders, innovative change-makers, entrepreneurs, scholars, government officials and more to celebrate the AAPI community’s diversity and collective power.
