Hosted by Lord Claus and Lady Freya, with instruction from Phillip Martin, an internationally recognized authority on tatami cutting and historical swordsmanship techniques.Tatami cutting is not simply “cutting things with swords.” It is the study of structure, edge alignment, targeting, measure, and control using sharp steel against rolled tatami targets. These exercises are deeply connected to the martial traditions discussed in surviving historical treatises from the medieval and renaissance worlds.

💰 Mats are $10 each. Recommended quantity is 1–3 mats.
