Scholfield is eclectic and soulful with refined traces of his once raw talent still occasionally exposed.
Fresh off opening for world renowned Alain Johannes and Ross Wilson from Daddy Cool this is a moodstone minamilst, informed by the Greenwhich Folk Scene and the stripped back shique of Unplugged in New York and sessions at Sin'E or the Gaslight as well as Brunswick St and Sydney Road (when it was good.)

6:00 Don't Come Monday
Hailing from Tasmania’s north west coast, Don’t Come Monday have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with on the Tasmanian music scene.
Since 2015, the four-piece group have been playing all over their home state, including festival slots at The Fruits of The Roots, A Day At The Lake, Love It Festival, and multiple performances at MONA in Hobart, and Launceston’s Albert Hall. Don’t Come Monday have also been fortunate enough to play support slots for touring artists such as Shannon Noll, Rose Tattoo, Things of Stone and Wood, The Go Set, and The Bad Dad Orchestra.
The passion of the group is to write and perform original music covering a wide range of styles including rock, blues, folk, funk, reggae, country and punk arrangements alike. All delivered in a distinctly Tasmanian fashion.
The band boasts multiple decades of combined musical and performance experience, with prolific songwriter Rob Rose (Thongs and Socks Collective, Folkus) on lead vocals, Grant Hearps (Golden Sunbird, Home Brewed Blues) on bass, Fintan McCullough (Tessa Lee and The Cold Weather Band, Midnight Messengers) on guitar, and Rick Lovell (Billy Rocket Band, Paradigm) on drums.
Don’t Come Monday have released two singles: “Hangman” (2022), and “Convenience (Will K*ll Us)” (2020), as well as a six-track EP: “The Hands of Time” (2020) – all to widespread positive response.
With 10 years of gigs behind them, the band has no intention of slowing down - maintaining a busy gigging schedule amidst recording and releasing a new single and full album in 2024.
